Celebrating Black History Month, Bluesman and Bronx resident Guy Davis, the son of the late civil rights activists and acclaimed actors Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, is a contemporary interpreter of the country blues tradition. His performances feature both original songs and blues standards, informed by country blues legends such as Robert Johnson and Lead Belly, and are typically punctuated by stories and humorous oratory.
