The Harlem Chamber Players presents music by past and living African American composers in celebration of Black History Month. The concert features the world premiere of James Lee III's String Quartet No. 2 and works by George Walker and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and is hosted by Eric K. Washington, journalist, historian and author of Manhattanville: Old Heart of West Harlem.

The performers include: Damian Norfleet, baritone; Patmore Lewis, violin; Amadi Azikiwe, viola; Lawrence Zoernig, cello; Liz Player, clarinet.
